Downpours brought by Typhoon Doksuri have recently caused floods in northern China.
On Sunday, a driver in Wuan, Hebei province, got trapped in a raging torrent when crossing a river.
At the life-or-death moment, a rescuer approached the man by descending from a crane and brought him to safety.
For his heroic effort, the rescuer was lauded by netizens as "a savior descending from heaven".
