Panda popularity continues to rise

Did you know that China stopped giving giant pandas as diplomatic gifts in the 1980s? Instead, it began international cooperation and research programs, collaborating with 22 zoos in 19 countries. So far, 64 giant pandas have found their home abroad, becoming global celebrities with countless fans. Every year, panda enthusiasts from the United States visit the panda center in Sichuan, to volunteer and celebrate their birthdays. How adorable is that?
