The 2023 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week began in Hangzhou on July 6 under the title "New Pattern, New Momentum, New Development."

The event aims to fully leverage the historical ties between Zhejiang and Taiwan and further deepen practical cooperation in areas such as industrial development, education, technology, trade and investment, and cultural exchange. Together, they will strive to create a brighter future through the integrated development of the two regions.

Wang Hao, governor of Zhejiang, said that the province will further improve its first-class business environment, provide better conditions, and help Taiwan businessmen, enterprises, and compatriots feel more secure, work more smoothly, and live more comfortably when investing and doing business in Zhejiang.

During the opening ceremony, the Measures for Further Optimizing and Enhancing the Business Environment in Zhejiang Province to Promote the Integrated Development of Zhejiang and Taiwan Economies were announced. The unveiling ceremony of the Cross-Strait (Shaoxing) Digital Industry Cooperation Zone and the Cross-Strait (Wenzhou) Health Industry Park also took place.
