Han highlighted the need to adhere to independence and mutual respect, urging efforts to independently explore the path of democratic development, and respect the exploration of this path by people in different countries.

It is important to resolve conflicts through dialogue and coordination, and the international community, especially influential major countries, should take a clear stand to promote peace talks and mediation in light of the world's needs and aspirations, he said.

Mutual trust should be built, disputes must be resolved and security must be enhanced through dialogue, he added.

Han reiterated Beijing's position to firmly uphold and practice multilateralism to make global governance more just and equitable.

He called upon various sides to work together to usher in a new stage of balanced, coordinated and inclusive global development, promote international development cooperation, improve the well-being of the people and consolidate the social foundation for world peace.
