Meeting set to advance green agenda


The 14th Forum of Green Development and Low Carbon Life commenced on Saturday, bringing together experts from various sectors to advance the green transformation.
The event was organized by China Newsweek which has maintained a continuous record and coverage of the actions taken in China's green and low-carbon development. Its focus lies in highlighting the innovative practices of various industries, encompassing clean production, green operations, technological innovation and environmental philanthropy.
During the event, China Newsweek announced the upcoming release of a series of video programs with a low-carbon theme. These programs will explore the hottest topics in the field of green and low-carbon development. Specially invited guests will delve into the forefront of industries and immerse themselves in real-life experiences. Through research, visits and dialogue, the programs aim to advocate for the concept of green development and low-carbon lifestyles.
"Green and low-carbon production and lifestyles act as a powerful catalyst for promoting high-quality development. It is crucial for us to embrace new technologies and drive the adoption of sustainable practices in our daily lives," says Zhang Mingxin, chief editor of the China News Agency to which China Newsweek is affiliated.
"China Newsweek is committed to fostering broader participation in the green and low-carbon revolution through diverse and innovative means of mass communication."
The publication plans to hold an exhibition showcasing China's path and achievements in low-carbon development to the public through various forms such as visuals and imagery next month.
