As Syria hopes to hit 2 million visitors by next year, Nedal Machfej, Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Syrian Arab Republic, in an interview with China Daily, said that they are looking to new markets like China to regain the Arab country's tourism movement after having suffered from years of war and sanctions.
