Expats explore kite culture, vegetable sci-tech in Weifang

Nestling in the heart of East China's Shandong province, Weifang is a vibrant city with a rich cultural heritage, breathtaking scenery and a thriving economy.

The city scored top marks from a group of international journalists and social media influencers from countries including the United States and Canada during a visit on April 15-16.

They got to see Weifang's captivating kite culture and state-of-the-art vegetable science and technology, and had a ball at the 40th Weifang International Kite Festival.

They also got a sneak peek of some of the exhibition halls of the highly anticipated China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Sci-tech Fair, which runs from April 20 to May 20.
