Store selling World University Games merchandise opens at 'Bird's Nest'

A store selling official licensed products of the 31st FISU World University Games held it grand opening at the National Stadium, also known as the "Bird's Nest", on Wednesday in Beijing, marking the 100-day countdown to the games.

The games will be held from July 28 to Aug 8 in Chengdu, Sichuan province, after being delayed twice due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

The store is the first flagship store of a major sports event at the Bird's Nest since the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games. It features more than 1,000 products, including pins, key rings, toys, ceramics and non-precious and precious metals.

There are 285 stores and centers for official licensed products that have opened so far, according to authorities.
