National Botanical Garden celebrates 1st anniversary

Amidst the beautiful spring weather and blooming flowers, the National Botanical Garden in Beijing is hosting its first annual peach blossom viewing season and world famous flower exhibition on Tuesday.

Over 400,000 spring flowers such as peach blossoms, lilacs, crabapples, tulips and peonies are in full bloom, attracting visitors from all across China.

The first National Botanical Garden approved by the State Council was officially inaugurated in Beijing on April 18, 2022, marking an important milestone in China's ecological civilization construction.
