Multiple intl organizations' representatives to attend Understanding China Dialogue
Renowned foreign politicians, strategists, scholars, business executives, diplomats and representatives of international organizations will attend the coming Understanding China·GBA Dialogue forum in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.
They will be joined by representatives from Chinese central and local government agencies, as well as scholars and business executives, said Xu Weixin, chairwoman designate of the China Institute for Innovation & Development Strategy, at a news conference in Guangzhou on Saturday.
Themed on Chinese modernization and opportunities for the world, the forum will be held from April 18 to 20.
The forum will focus on the interpretations of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), important speeches made by CPC Central Committee General Secretary Xi Jinping, and the annual sessions of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Xu said.
Topics will include the development of whole-process people's democracy, the building of a modern socialist country in all respects and the advancement of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization.
The forum is meant to present the Chinese development philosophy of pursuing high-quality development, high-standard opening-up and the goal of building a community with a shared future for mankind, she said.
Participants at the forum are invited to visit the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) to experience the vitality of the region.
