Senior Chinese sports official removed from post

BEIJING -- Du Zhaocai was removed from the post of vice head of the General Administration of Sport of China, the State Council announced on Thursday.
Du has been under probe for suspected serious violations of discipline and law by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision.
