Ningbo Lishe International Airport will implement its 2023 summer-autumn season flight schedule starting from March 26, according to local media reports.

The new season will see flights link Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province with 74 other cities, including eight that are overseas. The flight volume in the April-May period is expected to recover to the pre-pandemic level in 2019, while passenger numbers should rebound to more than 80 percent of the same period that year.

To meet growing travel demands, Ningbo airport will resume international flights to countries including Singapore, Vietnam and Cambodia, while increasing the flight frequency to destinations like Hong Kong and Bangkok.

New direct flights to two domestic cities – Dali in Yunnan province and Ezhou in Hubei province - will also be launched.

In addition, the airport will increase flights to cities located in the nation's southeastern and northeastern parts.

The number of daily flights from the city to Beijing, Chongqing, Chengdu and Guiyang will be raised to over 10 to cater to passengers traveling at different times, while the frequency for those bound for Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Kunming will be increased to more than 7.5.
