More than 240 Chinese paintings made by resident artists of the Chinese National Academy of Arts are now on show at the Traditional Chinese Culture Museum in Beijing through to March 31.

Titled The Look of a New Era, the exhibition shows explorations in the realm of ink art carried out throughout years by the painters who are committed to the Chinese cultural traditions.

Besides their technical artistry, featured artists also share a deep compassion for the people and their livelihood in their works, by which they hope to present the changing social landscapes of the country.
