The six survivors have been hospitalized with injuries and are in stable condition. Another 49 people are still missing.
Due to the lack of medical facilities near the site, the Qingtongxia People's Hospital in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region, about 60 kilometers from the mine, was designated as the hospital for the injured.
