With COVID controls downgraded, app is adjusted

Several functions related to COVID-19 prevention and control on yuekangma, the Guangdong health code application, were disabled on Thursday morning, as COVID-19 control measures having been downgraded nationwide.

Personal information involved in those functions had been strictly managed under the law, and the data in question is to be deleted and destroyed to safeguard personal information security, according to the operator of the application.
