Prospects of Kazakh-Romanian Relations Discussed in Bucharest

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan Nurbakh Rustemov met with the Minister of Culture of Romania Lucian Romașcanu and Presidential Advisor Luminica Odobescu, during which the parties noted with satisfaction the implemented projects that contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation between our countries, DKNews.kz reports.

The Kazakh diplomat stressed the level of trust in bilateral political relations, which have strategic potential due to the expansion of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation in recent years, as well as based on the importance of the transit and transport connection between the two countries.

Presidential Adviser Odobescu especially noted the positive dynamics of bilateral relations, noting the importance of maintaining constructive political interaction. For his part, Minister Romașcanu thanked the Ambassador for his big contribution to the perpetuation of the great poets of both countries - Abai and Eminescu, the opening of public squares in Kazakhstan and Bucharest in the capitals of both countries, concerts held in Romanian cities and other cultural events to bring our peoples closer together.

In addition, Rustemov informed the interlocutors about the upcoming elections to the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 19 this year, which are a continuation of the initiated reforms of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
