Sanya continues to rise in popularity after Spring Festival holiday

Sanya tourism continues to spike even after the Spring Festival holiday, with many people choosing to stay longer or take new trips after the holiday to avoid the travel rush.

After the holiday, many Sanya scenic spots, like Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area, Dadonghai Tourist Area and Wuzhizhou Island, remain popular among tourists. From Jan 28 to 30, the three scenic spots each received about 10,000 tourists daily.

Duty-free shopping remains as a favorite activity for tourists in Sanya, as there are still a lot of customers at the duty-free stores even after the Spring Festival.

Locations such as Sun Bay, Sanya Serenity Marina, and Sanya's Poly Shallow Sea Time, have also recently become popular niche scenic spots for tourists.

The upcoming Lantern Festival, which falls on Feb 5, will soon bring a new wave of tourists to Sanya. Many scenic spots and tourist shopping complexes, such as Sanya International Duty Free City and Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area, have launched a series of activities to provide tourists with a pleasant holiday experience.
