Several Shanghai hospitals have opened special clinics aimed at helping people address common health issues like fatigue, cough and sore throat that persist even after their antigen tests for COVID-19 have turned negative.

Among the medical institutions that have done so is the Children's Hospital of Shanghai, which has set up a traditional Chinese medicine clinic on Dec 29 for children in the rehabilitation stage.

The clinic offers both online and offline consultations, as well as traditional Chinese medicine and treatments such as massages, acupuncture and moxibustion, diet therapy and acupoint application.

The hospital also opened another clinic on Jan 4 to provide rehabilitative services for children who developed respiratory complications after getting infected with the virus.

Another medical institution that has set up a special clinic is the Jiading Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai's suburban Jiading district. Open from Monday to Friday, this new clinic specializes in using TCM therapies, traditional exercises and diet therapy to help people fully recover.
