In 2022, China witnessed great transformations, including the successful conduct of the 20th National Congress. The year of Tiger has ended with a huge triumph for the country in many aspects such as Chinese modernization, socioeconomic development, innovative reforms, and open foreign policy. 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, which means longevity, peace, prosperity in Chinese culture, and hope. It is evident that the Communist Party of China has set targets for the next five years and enhancing efforts for robust progress. Chinese leaders have left no stone unturned for the people and fostered broader regional integration. Under President Xi Jinping's visionary leadership, China is on the road to modernization with prudent policies and robust projects. Xi has adopted the right policies both domestically and internationally for common development.

The upward voyage of the CPC for China's modernization has pursued a strategy of national rejuvenation and global changes of a magnitude that has not been seen in a century. In this aspect, the key characteristics involve enhancing the government's capacity, formulating the 14th Five-Year Plan for Socioeconomic Development by 2035, and analyzing Party's major achievements.

It is said that "People without knowledge of their history, origin, and culture is like a tree without roots". China has not forgotten its history and ancestors but kept its legacy intact, which helped the country to work tirelessly on the way to prosperity. Additionally, the sound theoretical guidance of Marxism has remained crucial for the Party's foundation and future initiatives. The basis act as a light to push forward in the way of profound development with a shared forward-looking spirit. To uphold and develop Marxism, China aims to integrate it with specific realities to achieve goals. It is important to mention that these aspects drive the modernization path for the country and progress in all fields.

The new journey of the new era in 2023 highlights that the dynamic Chinese leadership will enhance efforts to realize the second centenary goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects and to advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation of all fronts through a path to modernization and openness. The leadership seeks happiness for the people and progress for humanity. No matter how the global situation might have changed, China has always pursued the shared human values of peace, development, fairness, justice, democracy and emancipation. It has championed internationalism, stood on the right side of history and the progressive side of humanity, and contributed to global peace and development. All these major developments were made possible due to Xi's far-sightedness and visions that have helped the nation to become more resilient.

When it comes to new aspirations, China has already worked for conducting betterment in major sectors, for instance, clean-green development, science and technology, cultural cooperation, internal reforms, high standard opening, accelerating innovative-driven strategy, workforce development, educational reforms, promoting world peace, strengthening institutions, establishing consultative democracy, and fostering regional coordination. All these key features are imperative for the nation's progress toward emancipation.

On the other hand, certain socioeconomic developments in the global discourse have contributed a lot to bring profound changes in international relations. Those changes have enabled states to shed the conventional nature of confrontation and move towards a shared future. Thanks to the policies and grand visions of Xi, the world has been working for regionalism and joint development. The Belt and Road Initiative, the concept of building a community with shared future for mankind, and the Global Development Initiative have all brought a plethora of opportunities for the states to cooperate in the areas of mutual interest and tackle joint threats. In this chaotic world, where the COVID-19 pandemic has plagued the world and disrupted social systems, China emerged as the sole leader to cope with the challenges and help other states in this regard.

Under all these assertions, it can be easily anticipated that China will again experience a golden era in 2023 with many interesting events and new programs that will steer other regional states on the path of collaboration. The peaceful development path is consistent and built on China's fine traditional culture and legacy. The leadership cherishes peace and stability within and outside the country. Undoubtedly, the country is moving toward greater prosperity and a brighter future.

Openness, inclusiveness and mutual learning are the defining features of CPC. Moreover, interaction and interdependence are the general trends. Therefore, the Year of the Rabbit will experience more success in all spheres of the future in China.
