With a history of more than 100 years of lantern-making, the village has promoted it as a core brand industry to help local farmers start businesses and increase their incomes.
There are around 100 factories and workshops and 2,000 residents from Yangzhao and nearby villages involved in the industry.
As many as 4 million pairs of lanterns can be produced annually, with an output value of 100 million yuan ($14.4 million).
