Youth Power: How Gen Z sees historic congress shaping the future

The sixth episode of season two of the China Daily series Youth Power, titled "How Gen Z sees historic congress shaping the future", will be broadcast on Nov 30 at 8 pm Beijing time (7 am EST).

In the previous episode we were joined by Gen Zers from China and across the globe to discuss the 20th CPC National Congress and its implications on youth. This time we bring the discussion directly to Chinese youth. In this episode we have invited youth of different ethnic groups from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan to discuss the recent congress. They take a journey back in time through time capsules to look at what the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress entails and to consider the journey the Communist Party of China has traveled since it was founded 101 years ago.

From what they have to say about both the past and the future, we may be able to gain an insight into China’s path to modernization and the core role the Communist Party of China plays in it.
