Pakistan hails Chinese medical support

The Chinese medical expert team that was sent to aid Pakistan in its flood relief efforts returned to China on Sunday after completing its mission of post-disaster medical relief and pandemic prevention. Pakistan's government spoke highly of team's performance and expressed appreciation.
With 13 medical and health professionals from the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, the team set out for Pakistan on Oct 28. Pakistan has suffered from devastating floods since June, with heavy casualties and property loss. The Chinese government assigned Guangxi to dispatch a medical team to Pakistan at the request of the Pakistani government.
