First floating hybrid wind-solar project underway

A floating solar power farm entered service recently off Haiyang, Shandong province. The project is integrated with an offshore wind turbines, making it the world's first floating hybrid wind - solar project, the local publicity office said。
The project, commissioned by China's State Power Investment Corp, is located in waters 30 kilometers from Haiyang.
