Watch it again: China, the world and youth beyond the 20th CPC National Congress

The fifth episode of season two of the China Daily series Youth Power, titled "Youth Voices: Forging the Path Forward", will be broadcast on Sunday, October 30, at 8 pm Beijing time (8 am EST).

At the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that concluded in Beijing on Oct 22, a blueprint for China's development was mapped out. In the report to the congress, Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, called for young people to be "the new era's great young generation with ideals, a sense of responsibility, grit and dedication".

In this episode of Youth Power, Gen Zers from China, Egypt, India, Russia and the United States discuss topics concerning the congress. These young people will tell us what they think about China's reforms and development over the past 10 years, whole-process people's democracy, the Chinese path to modernization, China's responsibilities in the world and the wisdom it can share with others.

In addition to the guest speakers, Youth Power has interviewed overseas Chinese people and foreign guests from around the world, seeking their views about China and its future.

What do Chinese and overseas young people think of China's model? What influence will China's modernization have on the world in the years to come? What are Gen Zers' expectations for China and the world over the next decade? What do young people think they can contribute to give us a better future?
