CPC's central task on the new journey of the new era

From this day forward, the central task of the CPC will be to lead the Chinese people of all ethnic groups in a concerted effort to realize the Second Centenary Goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects and to advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization.

The CPC aims to basically realize socialist modernization by 2035, and build China into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful from 2035 through the middle of this century. (Read more)

New development pattern and high-quality development

To build a modern socialist country in all respects, we must, first and foremost, pursue high-quality development.

We must fully and faithfully apply the new development philosophy on all fronts, continue reforms to develop the socialist market economy, promote high-standard opening up, and accelerate efforts to foster a new pattern of development that is focused on the domestic economy and features positive interplay between domestic and international economic flows. Role of education, sci-tech and talent in modernization drive

Education, science and technology, and human resources are the foundational and strategic pillars for building a modern socialist country in all respects.

We must regard science and technology as our primary productive force, talent as our primary resource, and innovation as our primary driver of growth. (Read more)
