Xi sends condolences to Nigerian president over boat capsizing incident

BEIJING -- President Xi Jinping sent a message of condolences Thursday to Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari over a boat capsizing incident in Nigeria.
In his message, Xi said he was shocked to hear about the boat capsizing incident in Nigeria's southern state of Anambra that caused heavy casualties.
On behalf of the Chinese government and people, Xi extended deep condolences over the victims and sincere sympathy to their families.
