Watch it again: Open Dialogue Between Gen Z on China-ROK Relations
The fourth episode of season two of the China Daily Series Youth Power, titled "PRC-ROK Let's Make Things All OK", will be broadcast on Friday, Sept 30, at 8 pm Beijing time (8 am EST)
China and the Republic of Korea mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries this year, and 2022 has been designated the year of China-South Korea Year of Cultural Exchanges.
To mark this milestone between the two countries, Youth Power has invited Generation Z guests from both China and South Korea to exchange in a dialogue about the issues that are most important to Gen Z youth from both countries, such as stereotypes, the role of media, cultural connections, the future of China-ROK relations, and more.
Generation Z youth were born after the countries had established diplomatic relations. How do they experience life and what prejudices do they still have stemming from a time before they were even born? What challenges do Gen Zers in the two countries face, and what dreams do they have in common? How do Gen Zers view relations between the two countries, and what kind of future do they wish for?
This and much more can be seen in the upcoming episode of Youth Power. Youth Power, organized by China Daily, aims to build a global platform of communication and exchange, focusing on the interests and ideas of Generation Z.
Join us on our journey to unite the world, one dialogue at a time.
