PLA continues military exercises in the air and waters off the Taiwan island

The People's Liberation Army has conducted inter-service joint patrol and combat exercises in the air and waters off the Taiwan island recently, the PLA's Eastern Theater Command said on Friday evening.

Those actions were "regular military operations" organized by the theater command in accordance with the situation across the Taiwan Straits, it said.

The theater command will continue combat training and resolutely safeguard the national sovereignty and security as well as the peace and stability across the Straits, it said.
