Better practices boost Xinjiang farm productivity

The summer grain output of the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region increased by 2.2 percent year-on-year to more than 6.55 million metric tons this year, local authorities said on Tuesday.
The total summer crop acreage in the region reached nearly about 1.16 million hectares in 2022, according to regional data.
