Changing river: A view from above

Recent rainfall and increased water volume from upstream on the Yellow River has swelled the river's Yongji section in Yuncheng, Shanxi province.

The riverbed has been washed out, creating a spectacular landscape resembling a traditional Chinese painting when seen from above.
