YEREVAN - At least three people were killed and dozens more injured in an explosion at a market in the Armenian capital Yerevan on Sunday, said the emergencies ministry.
Rescuers are searching for more people feared trapped under the ruins of the Surmalu shopping center.
Several buildings collapsed or were damaged, and the blaze created a large cloud of smoke.
The state-run news agency Armenpress said at least 51 people have been taken to the hospital after a blast occurred and a fire broke out at the market.
