The young turtles are healthy and energetic, demonstrating the success of artificial breeding technology, the reserve said in a statement.
It is the first time red sea turtles have successfully hatched via artificial propagation technology in Guangdong province, it said, adding that it is also the largest number to hatch at one time in the country.
