Intl organization cluster in Shanghai welcomes 4 new members
SHANGHAI -- Four international organizations on Thursday signed occupancy intention documents to enter the New Bund Global Economic Organization Cluster in East China's Shanghai municipality.
The organizations were the Institute of Printed Circuits Shanghai Representative Office, the Consumer Goods Forum Shanghai Representative Office, Clinton Health Access Initiative Shanghai Representative Office and the Association for Materials Protection and Performance.
The cluster, inaugurated in Shanghai's Pudong New Area last July, has a service space of 3,500 square meters for international organizations and institutions with global influence.
Over the last year, 12 international organizations have settled in the area.
China issued a guideline to support the high-level reform and opening-up of Pudong on July 15, 2021. It said that Pudong should play a role in drawing more international economic organizations and multinational companies' regional headquarters to the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
