Rainstorm floods Pingwu county

A rainstorm in Pingwu county, Sichuan province, early on Tuesday resulted in two deaths and four missing, according to the county government on Tuesday.
At about 5 am on Tuesday, heavy rainfall in an upstream neighboring county caused floods in Muzuo Tibetan township in Pingwu, washing away some road sections and interrupting communication.
The local government immediately launched the flood control emergency response, rescuing people and rebuilding roads.
As of midday, 31 people trapped by the floods have been rescued and more than 700 people have been evacuated, publicity department from the county said.
