Jumping rope becomes a family affair

Lin, his wife, learned rope skipping from him after they began dating. She quickly mastered the skills. Later, with the birth of their two children, Lin suspended her practice for a time.

She returned last year to win the championship at the International Jump Rope Union Virtual Champions 2021, the world's top jump-rope competition, after several months of training.

Yu and Lin were the first married couple in China to both win world champions in jump-rope.
