Development plan approved for Guizhou city

The State Council, China's Cabinet, approved a plan for promoting high quality development in Bijie in Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The official reply from the State Council on approval of the plan, which was released on Thursday, called for boosting green development, tapping into human resources and innovating systems to accelerate progress in new types of industrialization, urbanization, agricultural modernization and tourism.
Bijie is expected to develop into a demonstration area with prosperous livelihood, beautiful scenery and full vitality, the circular said.
The Guizhou government should strengthen organization when implementing this plan and formulate detailed measures, it added.
