Guangzhou airport resumes flights
The Baiyun airport in Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province, has resumed regular operation with a large number of domestic passenger flights reopened, after the latest COVID-19 resurgence was brought under control, the airport said on Friday. The airport is expected to handle 300 flights on Friday, while its main airline, China Southern Airlines, plans to operate 61 inbound and outbound domestic flights at the airport. Most of the airport's inbound and outbound domestic passenger flights were canceled or rescheduled, following positive results found during its routine nucleic acid testing of staff on April 27.

Market regulator probes database
The State Administration for Market Regulation, China's top market regulator, said it has filed a case against China National Knowledge Infrastructure for suspected monopolistic behavior based on previous investigations, according to the regulator's website on Friday. China National Knowledge Infrastructure, better known as CNKI, is the country's leading provider of academic resources, solutions and knowledge.
