"Cross-cultural activities are the best medium for promoting dialogues, mutual appreciation and friendship," Choi said.

The Chinese and European artists have expressed either human being's symbolic relationship with nature, the essence of its elements, or a vision that's particularly committed to an environmental struggle, said Berenice Angremy, the curator, adding that their works have, as their main thread, the evocation of each element of nature.

"These artists are bearers of a humanistic and positive discourse and show us how to reinvent the world," she said.

The exhibition runs through July 31.
