To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's reunification with the motherland, a music show that traces back the evolution of Hong Kong pop music has been co-produced by Hong Kong Television Broadcast and Hunan Broadcasting System.

The show gathers 16 influential singers including Hacken Lee, Miriam Yeung and singer-songwriter Li Jian, to perform classic, hit songs from Hong Kong pop music as well as provide the younger generation an opportunity to probe into the cultural backgrounds of these songs and understand the emotional bonding between people from the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong. It aims to use music to build bridge of cultural exchanges. From these songs to be performed in the show, viewers can get to know how the songwriters portray the changes in our society and understand China's national spirit.
