ANHUI
Former senior Zhejiang official on graft charges
Zhou Jiangyong, a former senior official in East China's Zhejiang province, has been indicted on charges of taking bribes. Zhou was formerly a member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and secretary of the CPC municipal committee of Hangzhou, Zhejiang's capital city. Zhou's case has been filed by the People's Procuratorate of Chuzhou, Anhui province, to the city's intermediate people's court. Prosecutors accuse Zhou of taking advantage of his various positions to seek benefits for others and accepting a huge amount of money and valuables in return. The prosecutors informed the defendant of his litigation rights, interrogated him and listened to the defense counsel's opinions.
HAINAN
Cargo rocket arrives at Wenchang launch site
China's Long March 7 Y5 rocket, which will launch the new cargo craft for the country's space station, arrived at the launch site in the southern island province of Hainan on Monday. The rocket, alongside the Tianzhou 4 cargo craft that has already been transported to the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site, will be assembled and tested at the launch site, according to the China Manned Space Agency.

Province to build over 400 pocket parks
East China's economic powerhouse Jiangsu province plans to add more green spaces to improve people's living environment, including building over 400 pocket parks by 2025, said local authorities. With pocket parks of up to 20,000 square meters and greenways of at least 2 km, the green spaces will be ideal destinations for residents to relax and workout, said the provincial housing and urban-rural development department. Jiangsu also plans to promote rooftop greening and vertical greening of fences, walls, corridors and transport facilities.
