On March 25, the Xinjiang Culture and Tourism Week’s Japan session was launched both online and offline.

Titled “Xinjiang is a Wonderful Land", the event was hosted by the Network of International Culturalink Entities (NICE), the Chinese consulate-general in Osaka and the department of culture and tourism of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Duan Zhouwu, director of NICE, said the event aims to introduce the local customs, unique characteristics and scenery of Xinjiang to the Japanese people.

In the next 15 days, organizers will present nearly 100 items, including promotional videos, digital exhibitions, films, music videos, short videos and stage plays, on mainstream websites in Japan and social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
