Elderly painter captures romance of lifelong love

In 1967, Wang graduated and became a teacher in a primary school in Changchun. In 1969, the pair acknowledged their love. They married in 1970 after Liang graduated from the university to become a Chinese language teacher at a middle school in Changchun.
In 1976, to care for their elderly parents, the couple returned to their hometown.
Over the years, the family has moved several times, upgrading from a 5-square-meter home to an 80-square-meter apartment, the details of which are all recorded in Wang's paintings.
After retirement, the couple settled in Changchun in 2006, where their two daughters live.
