Fudan students given eco-friendly takeaway option

Students from Fudan University, which is currently under closed-loop management because of the COVID-19 outbreak, have been using recyclable heat resistant glass meal containers instead of disposable ones to package their takeaway from canteens on campus since Friday.

The 23,800 meal containers were bought using donations by the university's alumnus Chen Xuefeng, who is the founder and CEO of domestic recycling firm Love Recycling, local resident Mao Lingyun, and the Education Foundation of the university.
