In the face of the epidemic, China has mobilized the best doctors, the most advanced equipment and the most urgently needed resources for epidemic prevention and control, and the treatment costs of all patients have been borne entirely by the State.

The country has combined regular and targeted epidemic prevention and control measures with local emergency responses to any emergence of the novel coronavirus, which has helped it to quickly contain the spread of any new outbreak of infections.

At present, the number of new cases in some of China's neighboring countries and regions is still increasing rapidly, posing severe challenges for China to prevent imported cases. There are foreign media outlets questioning China's "dynamic zero case" policy, saying it could lead to higher economic costs and hinder people-to-people exchanges and interactions between China and the rest of the world. Some foreign media have even said that the policy could lead to the suspension of factories and logistics, which in turn would have a major impact on the global supply chains.

However, facts are facts. China's successful hosting of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics against the backdrop of the epidemic has won widespread recognition from the international community, and its "dynamic zero case" policy has won more and more understanding and praise worldwide. Even Western media have to admit now that the policy is a great success in preventing large-scale infections and deaths in China.

China's "dynamic zero infection" policy has had a positive impact on the global economy. The epidemic control measures under such a policy usually cover only one community or even one building, allowing most parts of the country to maintain normal production and life most of the time. Dynamic zero infection does not mean China pursues zero infections, instead it tries to bring the epidemic under control as soon as possible and achieve maximum results at minimum cost through rapid and precise whole-chain prevention and control measures. It is thanks to this approach that China was the first to realize economic growth and ensured the basic stability of global industrial and supply chains.

Facts have proved that the "dynamic zero case" approach is correct and effective in accordance with China's actual situation. Thanks to its strong and effective prevention and control measures, China, while maintaining its own economic and social development, has made important contributions to maintaining the stability and smooth flow of global industrial and supply chains and world economic growth.
