Liberia's hospital head lauds China for donations


A Chinese medical team donated medicines and medical equipment to JFK Memorial Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia, on Saturday.
The donation, made by 14th batch of China Medical Team in Liberia, include vital sign monitors, fetal heart rate monitors, light reading films and various common drugs urgently needed by the hospital.
JFK Hospital CEO Jerry Brown lauded the donation, and thanked the Chinese government for its consistent support to Liberia's health system.
Brown said the JFK administration is delighted with the highly quality medical services being provided daily by the China Medical Team at the hospital, and assured the team that donated medicines and instruments will truly benefit the people of Liberia.
In a statement, Chinese Ambassador Ren Yisheng said that China will continue to actively cooperate with Liberia in the field of medical and health, and will work with the country to jointly overcome the pandemic.
Ren commended the medical team for its contribution to the country's medical and health care delivery system.
