Mascot carvings bring cheer to Winter Olympic athletes

Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon, mascots of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, have become walnut carvings at the hands of a craftsman in Hebei province.

Li Zhijia, in Guangping county, Handan city, North China's Hebei province, made the walnut carvings of Winter Olympics mascots using delicate techniques to celebrate the sports gala and help spread Chinese culture.
