The Belt and Road Initiative's connectivity is bringing not only economic prosperity globally, but also stability and security, said Digby Wren, an Australian scholar and political analyst at the Deakin University in Melbourne.

Wren said that the Belt and Road Initiative, combined with China's "dual circulation", effectively connects the Chinese market with 140 countries, most of which are developing nations.

"It enables them to connect to markets all over the world, not just to China, and inter-regional trade also expands rapidly," Wren said.
