Yunnan announces plans to deepen reform

During the year, the China-Laos Railway got off to a good start, and the new China-Myanmar Indian Ocean Channel saw successful trial operation.

The province built two more new national-level foreign trade transformation and upgrading bases.

In 2021, the province' GDP reached 2.71 trillion yuan ($426.2 billion), up 7.3 percent year-on-year.

Cross-border e-commerce transaction volume in the province increased by 317.4 percent and total import and export volume increased by 16.8 percent in 2021.
