One COVID-19 case reported in Hangzhou

Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, reported one new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 case amid the latest resurgence of the virus, according to local authorities on Friday.

The case was a nurse in the inpatient department of the Oncology Department of Xixi Hospital and lived in the Xixi Yayuan community of Yuhang district in western Hangzhou.

The patient was diagnosed as a mild case of COVID-19 after testing positive on Thursday night.

The Xixi Yayuan community where the nurse resides has launched nucleic acid tests among all residents on Friday.
