A1 China remains one of the vital engines to the world economy recovery and continues to post a steady recovery and growth itself. China's economic stability and sustainable growth are the biggest contributions to the world economy recovery.

Especially, the Chinese government has introduced the "dual-cycle" strategy. With domestic market as the mainstay, China continues to boost high level opening-up and will step up the imports of high-quality foreign products and services to keep global trade moving and supply chain stable.

A2 On January 1st, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership entered into force, which is one another strong move taken by the Chinese government to further open up the market to promote free trade and strengthen the regional economic integration.

The entry into force of the agreement is conducive to expanding the exports of Chinese products and services in the region, streamlining procedures to facilitate cross-border logistics and increasing the mutual investment within the member countries.

All these will lead to increased demand for international logistics and bring broader market opportunities. We stay confident in our business development in China.

A3 We have witnessed and benefitted from the business environment improvement in China, the customs clearance efficiency in particular. DHL Express is an international express logistics service provider. The efficiency of customs clearance is critically important for us. In recent years, China customs has introduced a series of measures to streamline the customs clearance process, significantly improving the efficiency, which plays an essential role to ensure that the logistics supply chain is up and running, especially during the pandemic.

A4 The Chinese government announced carbon peak and neutrality target, demonstrating China's commitment to peaking carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060 respectively.

DHL's parent company Deutsche Post DHL Group commits to zero emission logistics by 2050, which is highly consistent with China's strategic goal of carbon emission reduction.

In 2021, the group further announced to invest 7 billion euros in the next 10 years to accelerate decarbonization. The funds will flow in particular into alternative aviation fuels, the expansion of the zero-emission e-vehicle fleet and climate-neutral buildings.

A5 China was and still remains one of the most important markets for DHL Express. DHL Express is the first major international express company entering Chinese market. In the past 36 years, DHL has made an investment of over 10 billion yuan and built up a vast logistics network in China.

The regulatory changes are designed to ensure a stable and fair development environment for all kinds of market entities.

China is resolved to pursue a high level of opening up to build the new development pattern with the continued efforts and measures to provide more extensive market opportunities to foreign companies. This further strengthens our confidence and determination to pursue long run development in China.
